Michael Brady
Michael is a well established agricultural consultant and land agent. He qualified from UCD in 1987 with a B.Agr.Sc.(hon) and commenced his career as a Dairy Husbandry Advisor with MAFF-ADAS UK in 1987.
He returned to Ireland in 1989 to work with a private firm and established Brady Group in 1995. He completed a Nuffield Scholarship in 2005 where he studied advisory services in France, Australia and New Zealand. Michael is passionate and enthusiastic in helping farmers achieve their goals.
Michael was a judge in the National Dairy Farmer of the Year Competition in 2010 and he is the current President of the Agricultural Consultants Association of Ireland.
When not at work Michael regularly contributes to public debates, makes the odd TV appearance and is sports mad.
Niamh Brennan
Niamh is a native of Ballyneale in South Tipperary. She developed her love of agriculture from a young age on her uncle’s farm and decided to pursue it as a career path. She graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2015 with a B.Agr.Sc.(Hon), major in Animal Science.
Following her graduation, she spent a summer working in America before coming home to commence her role as an Agricultural Advisor with FRS, delivering services on behalf of Teagasc in Co Cork.
In June 2018 she started working with Goldcrop in their head office in Carrigtwohill before taking up her role as an Agricultural Consultant with Brady Group in September 2019. She is currently undertaking a Master’s in Agricultural Extension and Innovation in University College Dublin partially funded by Macra Skillnet, which is a two-year part-time distance learning programme.
Sean Hayes
Sean is a new Agricultural Consultant. He Graduated from The Institute of Technology with a B.Agr.Sc.(hon). He is From a Dairy Farming background in Listowel, North Kerry. He began his advisory career with the Farm Relief Service working as a Nitrates Derogation Advisor.
As part of his education with The Institute of Technology Tralee, Sean has worked for Teagasc in Listowel and for the Kerry Life Project in Glencar. Seán is a driven individual who focuses on developing and implementing the business plan for a farm and ensuring that farmer’s stay compliant with all relevant regulations.
Sean completed a Final Year Project in 2018, Entitled Thermoduric Bacteria in pasteurised milk and the factors that contribute to the contamination of raw milk. A synopsis of the project was published in the Kerry Agribusiness Summer Technical Bulletin.
Jerry O’Neill
Jerry is a native of Ballinadee in South Cork. He was born and reared on a dairy farm and has been working with animals for as long as he can remember. He graduated from Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) in 2018 with an BA(Hons) Degree in Accounting.
Following his graduation, he spent a summer working in America before coming home to commence his role as an Accountant with IFAC farm accountants. In 2019 he moved from a graduate trainee role to a Farm Support Advisor and worked closely with farmers on their past, present and future plans of their farms. In 2020 Jerry was nominated for Part Qualified Accountant of the Year.
Jerry is a keen hurler with Courcey Rovers and is also an active member of his local macra.
Michael O’Neill
Mick is a business manager with a broad experience in the service industry working for a number of different companies throughout the years. He qualified from UCC with a B.Com(hons) in 1989 and went on to gain an MBA from St Joseph’s University PA.
Mick worked in the USA for a number of years and then returned to Ireland working in hospitality, recruitment, retail and sports venue management before coming to Brady Group as Office Manager in 2018.
